In order to meet the business development, LUATVIET – ADVOCATES & SOLICITORS wishes to recruit the Business Development (BD) Manager.

The Business Development (BD) Manager is the first point of contact for the Business Development enquiries in both Hanoi & HCMC offices, executes on business development and collaborates on marketing initiatives for Vietnam to implement country strategy and business plans in order to increase revenues and profitability for the firm.

BD Manager will also work closely with the wider BDMC team across Dentons network with a predominantly focused role in Vietnam in 3 main below areas:

1. Business Development

  • Prepare, coordinate and finalize client RFPs, presentations, proposals and pitches;
  • Regularly engage with business associations/ communities such as Amcham and Eurocham, including attending key networking events, sponsorships and liaison regarding collaboration opportunities;
  • Assist in coordination of events such as internal meetings, client conferences, client visits and sponsored events as required;
  • Undertake research and provide business, industry, client and competitor intelligence and analysis on a regular basis;
  • Prepare reports or summaries regarding BD activities and performance;
  • Build cooperative working relationships with BDMC colleagues across the region and contribute to team initiatives and maximize the BD function’s effectiveness;
  • Implement Key Account Program to support the development and implementation of large specific business and client plans;
  • Support on other Vietnam key clients and work with the core client teams to develop and strengthen the client relationships by client incentives program such as Client Feedback;

2. Branding & Promotion (collaborate with Marketing)

3. BD Infrastructure

  • Database management – Maintain library of materials for pitches, proposals, credentials and RFP responses;
  • Report to relevant Partners and team members on the progress of relevant BD initiatives;
  • Organize and coordinate appropriate meetings and conference calls as required, with full responsibility for arranging supporting materials;

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field;
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software;
  • Proficiency in English, market knowledge;
  • Extremely sharp logic, negotiation skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders;
  • Time management and planning skills;
  • Independent and driven;
  • Ability to deliver a consultative selling experience to clients;
  • Having at least four-years practicing experience in a media or marketing or commercial service company.
